Republicans are more than likely Anti-abortion and traditionalists (old fashioned family values) and believe that a healthy society comes from personal and corporate decisions.
Democrats are more than likely for Abortion and non-traditionalists. They are for "progression"..ie gay marriage. There is also a difference in social programs. They believe that a healty society comes from the government. Democrats would like to see a bigger government, while Republicans would like a smaller one. Republicans believe in "teach a man to fish..." and the Democrats usually believe in giving money to the situation.

Its sad if u dont know the politics of ur country. But let me see if i can help you. U have the left and right of politics. The left is democrat-they are more liberal- example, they are pro abortion (sad), they believe in big gov't (welfare, lots of government aid to help people they think cant help themselves) and the right which is Republican - more conservative- anti-abortion, small govt- they believe people can be successful on their own-hence their belief in a free-market society. There are extreme left and extreme right also, but u can do ur own research. Please take time to study ur American Politics if u are an American- go out and vote! If u dont vote, then dont complain about anything
