The Braves are 13 or so games back. Do they have any chance at the division now?

YES!! With one big IF!! If they get some solid help for their pathetic bullpen. They need both a middle reliever and a closer. The and only then will they overtake the Mets.

Have to call them as I see them.

Yes, they can and they probebly will. The braves have struggled most of the season, but are starting to come on strong. A few years back they were 10 games back on July 22nd and still came back to win the division. Don't count them out yet.

Not likely, even given that the Mets haven't been playing well lately. The Braves are too far back, don't have the same teams they've had in the past, and they obviously miss Leo Mazzone.

Close the book on the Braves, that streak of winning their division, and while we're at it, make that STUPID tomahawk chop illegal.

There are several things keeping me from watching Braves games:
1. Skip Caray, zero on the personality meter
2. I might hear that tomahawk chop
3. Any team that calls itself "America's team" needs a reality check (hear that Cowboys?)
4. The past association with Ted Turner

THINK BLUE!!!!

I think they can, they just really need some team work. I don't care what anyone says, 13 in a row is not going to be our final number. If they can get Chipper, Andruw, and everyone in working condition and showing what we're really made of... I have faith.

You can tell the others who posted just aren't true Braves fans. You have to have faith in your team and not give up as soon as the team is playing poorly. I love them win or lose.

I dont think they do.

The back end of their bullpen is very weak, and their players are too young to take them all the way. They have a slight chance of getting the Wild Card, but that is if they go out and get a closer at the trade deadline.

I would say outside of a miracle, no. It might be different if Atlanta were showing signs of a resurgence, but their play hasn't improved heading into the All-Star break. They will need serious momentum the rest of July and all of August in hopes of making a fall run.

Not a chance. If anything, they would have to go for the wild card, but that is also unlikely.

Dude...pass the joint! You're already stoned. What are you going to ask next? Are the Royals going to break .500 this year?

Wow, thanks for the laugh man.

Are you on crack?

The Braves have 18 blown saves this year already.

They wont even win 80 games.
