I'm a Newcastle fan and I would love it, LOVE IT we could win the Premiership. That aint gonna happen for a very long time (if ever) but as I said to a few friends before the World Cup started, I'd rather see the Toon win the League Cup than see England win the World Cup. Remember we haven't won a domestic trophy since 1955 and are long overdue. I was as gutted as everyone else when England were knocked out but it didn't compare with how I felt after being beaten by Arsenal and Man U in 98 and 99. That was low.

England to win the world Cup. My team (Watford FC) have had their share of successes lately, but glory with England has been lacking. That is the part of my football 'life' which has been undercultivated!

Even though the english invented football and introduced football(soccer) to the world the south american teams are the best and show a lot of spirit and courage it was a shock when all of the south americans were knocked out of the world cup
