Going tomorrow night and can't decide between:
* Pirates of the Caribbean 2 and
* Superman Returns
Also is there anything out that's good to rent? Thanks in advance for your ideas! :)

Tough choice. I would probably go to Superman though just since the lines won't be nearly as long as they will be for Pirates.

I think you should see both. One after the other and make a night of it. I heard good things about Superman and i also have been told that Pirates of the Caribbean 2 was awesomely great.
There have been some good movie rentals too...like cheaper by the dozen 2, Aquamarine, Eight Below, Rumor Has-it, The Family Stone, The Last Holiday, Love on the Side, Just friends, Dreamer and that is all soo far. lol well good luck.

Go with Superman, and then see Pirates of the Caribbean next time. Another option might be The Devil Wears Prada.

You cannot go wrong with seeing either. Superman was great!!! and I haven't seen Pirates of the Caribbean 2 yet, but I am going this weekend to see it!!!

I saw "Superman Returns" and was very disappointed. I think it lacks the big blockbuster action we see in movies today, such as the Batman and X-Men films. It was too long and boring in my opinion and there was no chemistry between Superman and Lois. Even though some critics disliked "Pirates..." I'm seeing it tonight because if you liked the first one, I've been told you'll like this one. It's nothing Oscar-worthy, but odds are if you're seeing a Disney movie about pirates you're not going for the acting but more for the action, special effects, and comedy.
