WHEN ABERCROMBIE DIES

Styles go on a 20 year cycle. In the 90's, the 70's styles were making comebacks. Remember when the big collars? In the 2000's, the 80's are making a comeback. For example, the ripped jeans. And I remember rolling my sweatpants up to my knees.....in the 80's. Well, now they're coming back.

As long as people keep putting holes in their jeans and not have the money to buy new ones or to give up that old comfortable pair they will never go out of style lol.

When jeans without holes becomes popular again?... HAHA, I have a 5 and 1/2 year-old pair of jeans that started having holes in it. It's super. My old pair of jeans would probably sell for $120 at Abercrombie or something.

One of the really cool parts of being an adult is that you are a lot more comfortable choosing clothes you actually like, and that look good on your particular body.

If you don't like holey jeans, don't buy them. There is no shortage of other looks. When people stop buying them, the stores will stop selling them and manufacturers will stop making them.

The distressed look was hot in the late 80's and early 90's and it went away after a couple of years.

Don't worry, the manufacturers are always changing it up so you have a reason to buy new things. If what's "in" didn't change often, they would stop making money.

So...rest assured their days are numbered.

Hopefully soon, but my impression is that jeans wear down so easily that holes can't be avoided...so it just becomes the style as your jeans get older. Of course, they could actually fortify the denim and fibers they make them out of...

Probably never, but I wish they would. I saw a girl not to long ago with holes in her jeans and half of her butt cheeks hanging out.
