Probably because of this saying the Prince of Wales which is what's his face's name? The queen's son. I forgot his name. Well he resides in England and I suppose since he is the Prince of Wales they think Wales is a city. I don't know, maybe?

Maybe they just don't care, or are not that interrested in geography to know everything and please everyone. It's not reccomended to fill your brains with too many information, useless for others, and maybe the ones that don't know that Wales is a country know other stuff that you might not know about!!! So, please be tolerant!!!

well we weren't taught much about it in history as Wales had not much influence on US history. I knew it was a country though.

idk, some ppl are complete dumba**es sometimes. thats like, one time i asked my friend what state the city of Washington D.C. is in, and she said california....i wanted to kill her it was so rediculously stupid.
