Marine Laws! All Children under 6 years of age MUST wear Life Jacket at all times when in a boat!
1 Life Jacket per person must be on board.
Must have Whistle Or Horn (depends on size of boat)
These are laws for Boating in fresh waters. Such as rivers and lakes.
Traffic Laws! Turn right on red or green unless posted.
When stopped for drunk driving, if you refuse to blow, you lose your license for 1 year!
No drinking while driving!
Must stop at red lights!
Stupid Laws! No smoking in restaurants! or any place that sells food!
Don't feed the Gators!
Must have license to drive a car.
I could do this all day. but I must go now! That's my law!

Ok. In Florida, if you are driving on a one way street, turning onto a one way street, it is legal to turn left onto that street when traffic permits, even if the light is red.
Yes that is, or was a Florida law, in the 1970s.

All law in the U.S. is based on English common law, including Florida (except Louisiana, which is based on the Napoleonic code). That probably was not your question though.
