You should never love someone else more than you love yourself!!
I know that to say that breaking up "hurts" does not even scratch the surface of the pain and emptiness you may be feeling. It will take time, but you will get through this, we all do. During this healing time, make sure you have at least one shoulder to cry on, whether it be a friend or family, who will just BE there for you, not try to "fix" things. And above all else, never forget how wonderful you are and that you deserve the best!!

Get busy! The only way to get over someone is to admit the relationship failed (for what ever reason), acknowledge it and move on. Take extra care of yourself. Go shopping, take a class, be with friends - and give little time to what could have been. Focus on what is. It is true that times heals all wounds, and in time, you'll feel better.
Love can hurt - but its worth it. Get back on the horse, if you know what I mean - and find some company. Good luck.

Perhaps in knowing that no other individual can really ever make
you happy. When seeking to see the love for you in their eyes,
you will only see the reflection of you as they perceive you. And
they only know their version of you and not the REAL you.

You know the real you and in loving yourself for being exactly as
you are, others will notice and be drawn to you.

In truly loving yourself first, letting go of someone that doesn't
appreciate the real you isn't quite so difficult.

You deserve the best and when you know that that is you, you
will shine like an irresistible light that will draw the love you seek.

In this, you may approach this someone and offer to them your
greatest gift, yourself and with the knowing that they may choose
not to be with you. And this will not matter because you've come
to know your true value. The other individual will notice the
difference in you and may not be able to resist! :o)

Do you love them more than you love yourself? I you do then you're stuck but if you're #1 with you than take a weekend and have a pity-party maybe invite a close girlfriend. Then starting Friday night you can cry, look at old pictures, remember the good times, play songs that you guys liked, etc. ....then on Monday morning you're done and ready to start the rest of your life.

You just take one day at a time. Start doing things that you enjoy doing. Go out with friends, read books, join a gym...
Eventually, it will happen.
