I seem to remember seeing something on the discovery channel about a meteorite that was going to destroy the Earth in 6 years and was on its way here... is that true or was it just a movie?

Oh my God! Is that the next panic, besides the terrorists under every rock, the immigration crisis that's going to sink the country into the ocean or the Social Security crisis that's going to have us all starving in 35 years????? Help! Help!

Yes there was a meteor (about a half mile long) and it did come close but passed right on by a couple days ago. If you think being about as far away as the moon is close.

IT WAS A THEORY!!!!! They did not say there was one they said what would happen if there was one. It was a show that said what might happen and try to work out ways to destroy or stop it.

Harry and AJ and pals drilled to the center of it and blew it to smitherines... poor Harry, he blew up with the asteroid, but at least AJ got to get home to Grace. Balled my eyes out... but we are safe! No worries!
