Why must `celebrities` have their fingers in all the pies?

they feel the need to go from singing to acting to designing clothes to launching their own fragrance to opening their own shops to endorsing every ******* thing that they can and joe public consumer ******* laps it up, filling the celebrities gold lined pockets like idiots.
