by todays standards if someone calls you a prude they are refering to your lack of want or inabaility to particpate in things of a sexual nature, people will often use it as an insult to goad you into doing things you dont want to do, don't listen to them

Better yet, someone who thinks sexual topics/issues should not be talked about or engaged in. Let your sexuality come in your time. Some people who criticize prudes are loose or permiscuous (fast)

a prude is someone who is more old fashioned about sexual things, it's pretty rare these days, it's good if you are so don't be ashamed of it
