Being that they are both some what long names (and good ones at that), I would go with something simple like Marie, Leigh (or Lee if you prefer), or Lynn. Something with one or two syllables. However, I don't think something like Ann or Amber would be a good choice since Gabriella and Christina both end with an "a". You also need to take into account how it sounds with the first name. My daughter is Rebecca Marie. Our last name is only one syllable so it isn't much of a mouthful. If the baby's last name is a little on the longer side, I'd probably lean more toward a one syllable name. Hope that helps! :-)
