Depends-- if it's a new board and he's better than you and you guys plan to grind or stall or flatland like caspers and truckstands, then HAYL NO! All us skaters know scratches and marks are like pins and badges of honor in Guy world. You can't brag to your friends about scars if you got them from your sister's hamster; it's the same with skateboards. You show off your new board at the parking lot gap tomorrow and all the guys worship you, "dude, you must be heavy into tech tricks, look at the grindage on your tail after only two days!"
It'll be like telling them the scratch on your arm that makes you look like a hard *** is actually from when you stepped on your kitty cat's tail last night.
No way should he get to put his metaphoric flag in the "territory" you've just purchased, it's your land! Wrecking the **** out of a board, that's a privelege. Every mark tells a story: these accross the bottom of the deck are from all my crooked boardslides, that short tail is cause I can switchfoot the **** out of any board you got, and these... oh, these are from when I let some dude pull some cool tricks
What are you nuts? I don't let my closest of friends skate my new boards, EVER. Once I've beaten it up enough that its "new" is no longer "spankin", then they can try it, but until I put my name accross it in the form of scratches and missing paint, don't even ask.

No, because you know that everyone is going to want to check out the new skateboard, including the destructive brother. If you want to show it to your friend, have him come to your house and leave his destructolux brother at home.
All it takes is one nimrod who doesn't have a clue what he is doing to take your new skateboard for "just one test drive" and land on it wrong and mess it up, or worse yet, get injured and have your Mom blame you and your Mom for bringing it over.

why not just tell the guy to keep his grubby hands off and if he doesnt then hit him with it. :) isnt that what skateboarding is all about? besides if you skate you know that thing aint gonna last too long anyhow.

Not if his brother's gonna bust it. Bring an old one and when he kills it you can maybe get him to cough up some cash.

Sure,
as long as you don't let him use it.
Or tell him not to be so rough on yours.

No. If he beats the boards up, let him destroy his own toys.
