B. I've been through both and I can honestly say not knowing is worse because there will always be a "what if..." in the back of your mind.

B. You can never make up for lost time. Imagine seeing and being with soomeone you love never telling that person therefore never fulfilling your life. At least with "A" you know right up front where you stand. If someone was mean enough to humiliate you then you know right away that this individual is not worth wasting your time. You can then move on with your life. Yes, "B" would be worse.

A
Usually, you get over B just by being around other people and diverting your attention. With A, humiliation can come in a million different forms from just being laughed at to being full-blown arrested or getting a restraining order thrown at you. Not only could that get in your way, but you keep thinking about the "what if's that could've been" with that person and how you could have made it better.

Not telling them. If they humiliate you and if you are smooth enough to pull this off, you can completely play them off by saying that you had no idea that they were so childish.
Not telling someone though will turn into regret and that is the WORST feeling ever!

B is worse. It's better to have the balls to tell someone how you feel. If they're not interested then you can stop wasting time on them and move on. Wasting time on someone not worth it is much more humiliating.

I think not telling them and never knowing if they felt the same way because I just went through that myself and we ended up really liking eachother, its just that he was just as scared as I was. Besides if they humiliate you they weren't worth your time anyway and they'd probably suck as a friend. ~Best of Luck~

A, because it is Ok to take a change. If they humiliate you, they are not worth of your liking anyway. They might change, and no might turn into yes. At least you gave it a try.

Not telling, its not like you have never been humiliated before, and I am sure you will again, that you can get over. How do you get over never knowing?

I would choose A, why torture yourself by never knowing. I rather go through a minute of humiliation than a life time of what ifs.

B is worse. Most people are pretty decent and wouldn't want to hurt another persons feelings. If they do, it's probable not the kind of person you would want to be going out with anyways.
I had this delima where I liked a guy for years and was just friends, I told one of his friends who told me he was diggin me but couldn't get the nerve to ask me out. So I asked him out and we had a great time for a while until we found out we were better as just friends, and we still are. :-)
