You can ONLY get pregnant when you are nearing ovulation and the day of ovulation. Ovulation happens 12-16 days before the start of your next period. Ovulation does not happen a day or so before your period arrives. If you have your period you are NOT pregnant. It is NOT possible to have a period and be pregnant. The only way you bleed when you are pregnant is if something is wrong and then it isn't a period-it's abnormal bleeding.

you are fertile between days 12 and 16 of your cycle - this is when you best chance pregnancy. however, if your cycles are screwed up due to a medical problem, stress or something like that, you may ovulate even if it isn't time. if you are trying to avoid pregnancy, I suggest don't have sex! can you have a period and still be pregnant, the answer is yes. If you have a concern here, you best see your ob/gyn.

Yes because the sperm may swin between your uterus to your fallopian tubes before your period actually flows out. And your period may even be very short, like 2 days which can help you conceive as well

HIGHLY unlikely...conception only happens when a woman is ovulating. That is anywhere from 10 or more days before her period arrives. It is possible, but not likely.

Yes & Yes. When I was pregnant, my OB said my conception date was January 17th, and I had a period on January 24th.
