It has probably gained in the telling, because Saffron, a yellow powder (actually a form of stamen covered by pollen) which comes from certain Crocus flowers and is used in cooking, was used by the Romans to get a high. It was known by the hippy culture in the 1960's as Merry Yellow. It takes about a thousand flowers to produce one gram of the powder...........

It's really your own personal preference, for me, lavender put me in a bliss, while blue makes me feel "empty". Colors have different impacts on people. Yellow doesn't make me feel happy, it just simply looks tacky and cheap to me, no matter what shade, I don't know why though. I have came up with why the gas station BP is more popular than Amaco, Shell, etc. They are green, the color of coarse. Somehow, people just get a feeling the BP is more fresher, and cleaner. It's hard to say, but I hope you get what I mean.

The color yellow stimulates a feeling of happiness in the brain, though it can be a bit overwhelming if there's to much. Green stimulates your brain concentration wise, so it's good from library and the like. Blue causes a sense of calm, and for that reason is often used in interior decorating.

A soft yellow with other colors like in a pattern will do it. My laundry room is painted yellow, and I'm happy that it's in the soft shade it's in. If it was any brighter, I wouldn't need to turn on the lights in there.

yellow or gold is a good thinking color to be around. its the color of the solar plexus and is connected with the mental thinking intelligence. use sparingly, it is refreshing and think of lemons. they clear the body of nicotine and are a astringent as well as antiseptic. truth is, we need all the colors of the rainbow to help balance our emotional nature and that's why we feel so strongly about color. learn color and you will learn from gems and flowers. also the mind creates colors that are more vivid than nature. you need all colors but your favorite is probally your main color in you energy field, visible in freqency but invisible to the naked eye. i think we also get colors from music because sound has waves and waves have a form of light color and tone. crysaltology is the linking of light color sound and music.

it is true that colors afect your mood, but yellow doesn't make u happy. blue and green help u feel happy and relaxex. pink works as a tranquilizer. also, green helps decrease cravings if you're a nervous eater. And, if you're in a diet, puting your food on a blue plate will reduce your apetite.

Yellow does not make you happy. It has been proven that yellow causes fatigue and also that babies cry more in yellow rooms and husbands and wives fight more when in a yellow room.
