I would say 13 and over, but I was pretty mature for my 10 years of age when I watched it. Haha. South Park is a bit annoying, it's racist, swears ALL the time, has nudity..., and is just plain ol' restricted R. It dissapoints me when they bring down my culture, Iran, but I can't be a hypocrit. i laugh out LOUD when they make jokes about other things, so I guess it's a funny shhow for everyone! I definatley don't reccomend it to someone that is sensitive about these circumstances, about racism, swear words... South Park has a plethora of it for sure!!!
Hope this helps!

Each individual is different ... If it was created when I was a kid, well, I wouldn't have got the humor in it until I was at least 14 years old; and even then I'd only get about 50% of the humor it has. Even today, it can take a while to process the punch line, and I'll be at the supermarket and then bust out laughing because I finally got it---I'm used to people giving me the evil eye.
Did you know that cartoons were originally created for grown-ups?

It shouldn't be a matter of age. NOBODY of any age should watch the sewage otherwise known as South Park. Its just a poorly drawn cartoon by a couple of overaged Beavis and Buttheads who like to hear the work f&$k. At least cartoons like the Simpsons and King of the Hill show that there's an IQ behind them. South Park is pure garbage.

People think it's "bad" because there is some swearing and some references to sex in it. Wimpy kids can't handle that sort of thing but in general I would say that South Park is for 7 - 15 year olds.

South park really isn't that bad if you are up to date with current events. It is basic social commentary about our lives as americans. If you can watch the news and understand what is going on you should be able to watch SP too.

From birth. It is funny and iconoclastic and makes you think in different ways. My husband refers to it as "those naughty cartoons," so even in our happy family, there is disagreement. The whole family should discuss it. What is funny and why? I don't believe in sheltering kids from things in the world that won't really hurt them. I would much rather my children see South Park than a lot of what's on the evening news.

The language and some of the subject matter is kind of crude at points, but more often than not it's a moral tale, so I think younger teens is an alright age, because they'll get a majority of the jokes and be able to pull something out of it.

Well people claim it is bad because parents don't explain to the kids that what they say and do on the show is fake or a joke so people think that is real. So I would say any age is fine as long as you have a good line of communication wiht your child.

It's rated TV MA for a reason. I think one should be at least 16, but 18 would be ideal. The cursing, and the violence, and the sex talk. It's not a cartoon for kids.
