Marvel is way better because DC has some gay *** heroes and supervillians. superman is gay because for some reason nobody knows hes clark anymore because he has a little spit curl in his hair. batmans okay but hes a gay *** rich bastard. hmmm.... also the justice league on cartoon network was dumb but teen titans i like... so there are some good qualities to DC but in the end.............MARVEL RULES THE SUPERHERO BUSINESS!!!!

I agree just like I'm sure most people will.
Marvels got the cool stuff and DC has the outdated stuff.

Marvel is my favorite, but I have to admit, with these great writers on both teams these last 5 years or so, DC has really turned their cheeseball heroes around. Marvel has a better history, and MUCH better continuity, but there were several bad decisions (Spider clones, Psylocke turned into an asian assassin, to name a couple) that were just as bad as the bulk of early DC comics. I am a Wizard reader, and am often intrigued by the directions they (DC) go with their heroes and villians.
MARVEL is better...and I think they will remain better, but DC still has a few heroes (Superman and Batman,) that will always be more famous than Marvel's Spiderman or Hulk.
I dig Superman on the little and big screen, not a comic fan, same as Bats. Marvel has to get more TV properties going, maybe a smallvillish show about Thor or something, or Captain America's World War 2 experience.

Personally, I prefer DC. Here's why.
Superhero's for the most part, are pretty lame at this point. The only interesting superhero stories are the ones that explore the darker sides of superhero psyches. Batman is the best example of this, although Daredevil and Punisher do a pretty good job of it on the Marvel side.
But what makes DC superior in my book is the non-superhero books. The Vertigo line is consistently very good. Whether you're talking about Y The Last Man, Lucifer, or some of the classics like Sandman and Preacher, there's nothing on the Marvel side of the table that can compare.

Marvel heroes don't necessarily work together like in DC, they run into each other occasionally. They're also a bit more creative than DC, and there isn't so many of them, for example, the Justice League cartoons just have WAY to many superheroes.
And last but not least, the villians. in Marvel the villians are just as powerful or MORE powerful than the hero, and that's cool.

DC has much better books and slightly more variety than Marvel does -- currently. But it flips back and forth....from the mid-'60s to about the mid-'80s Marvel was producing better stuff. And from the '40s to the '60s it was DC (Marvel was known as Timely/Atlas in this period). So it switches. Someday, Marvel may be better again.

marvel is better cause some of the superheroes in DC are copies of Marvel. and a lot of superheroes in Marvel were once just regular people. Most of DC are aliens from anoither planet

I like Marvel better because I've not been really interested in any of the DC comic hero's or villains.

Who cares!!! It doesn't matter who publishes what! This debate has been going on for decades for no apparent reason.
It's like asking: which movie studio is better, _____ or ______ ?(insert random studios in blanks, obviously).
I don't believe one is necessarily better than the other; just different. I like comics from both Marvel and DC.
