I always thought Laverne was funnier. Although I was partial to BoBo Kitty which belonged the Shirley. I also liked Carmine, Lenny and Squigy. What a great older comedy. I loved the show so much when I was a kid that I even tried their favorite drink pepsi and milk. I wouldnt recommend it!!!

They were both funny, they need to work off each other.
But I think Laverne would be more fun to hang with. As long as she got rid of the big L's on her shirt, that is too tacky.

Going to have to buck the trend and go with Shirley.
Granted Laverne would be the girl to party with, but Shirley would have been the one to win my heart.
It's similar to Ginger or Maryann.... have to go with the dark-haired quiet one....

I love that show and I really love the theme song for it. That was one of the best shows back in the 70s. They were way funny.
I liked them both, I think they worked well together.
Hey USAlady32, I tried the milk and pepsi too and you're right, I wouldn't recommend it.
