Why in the hell do you have to ask for cheese at McDonalds when u order a Quarter Pounder Cheeseburger WTF?!?!

Because at one time they actually had a burger called the Quarter Pounder and it did not come with cheese. No one ordered it. Everyone ordered the QP w/cheese. So now everyone assumes that a QP has always come with cheese on it, but that is not the case.

Because its called a Quarter Pounder - so when you want cheese, you say Quarter Pounder with Cheese.

because back then when they had this meal it didnt always come with cheese unless u asked for cheese and plus some of the McDonalds people are stupid.......lol

I don't know, but McDonald's has gone down the toilet. The last time I went through the drive-in they didn't put a straw, napkins, or ketchup in the bag.

i believe it to be penny pinching move on mcdonald's part, as their main competetion (burger king) has always asked the same question when one orders a whopper.
