Search online for a list of newspapers in the Gettysburg Area. If it happened to be on the news the local news station might even have something on the accident or could give you direction as to what to look for.

I'd try online. If you know the name of the city/town, but not the name of the local paper, go to the town's web page, and they should list the name of the newspaper somewhere on there. Then go to the papers' site. they usually archive 60 days.

if you know the paper, you can contact them in any state and they can send you a copy. most main public libraries have them and after a certain time put them all on microfilm to look up.
