I don't know much about him but i like his music...especially the time he sang with clannad.
anyways, why does everyone wanna label themselves as liberal / conservationist.
I believe in human rights, but I think that people are going too far these days to support cruel, inhuman acts like abortion. (If a girl has an abortion because she made an uh-oh, she should be spayed like a cat so she can't murder another baby just 'cause it's inconvenient)....wow...where did that rant come from?

why do you hate him so much? Isn't he trying to help with peace and poverty? Isn't that a good thing? He's probably done more good in the world than you will ever do in your tiny little town. Think about that. I'm not a Bono fan, but do think he has done some good for the world.

He's just like all those other celebrities- ignoring that every nation has problems, and that it's a lot easier to help with the problems in your own nation than the rest of the world.

Because he is an ego maniac soon to be has been rocker. He last 3 albums stunk but people buy them to have the whole collection.
I am so tired listening to him preaching that we need to throw more money down that rat hole known as Africa.

It's not just him. These rock stars, actors, sports stars - alot of them are full of crap. If these issues meant so much to them, they would give more of there money, not just their time. Don't get me wrong, a lot of them do really good things, however, when you get one who makes millions of dollars a year ask a question like how do we stop poverty, come on . . . give them your money, that's how.
