If you want to spend all your time with a person, and the two of you never seem to have enough time to tell each other everything you have to say - it might be love
If you have a hard time imagining what life would be like without that person - it might be love
If you feel completely at ease with this person and have no need to hide your true personality - it might be love
If you feel like you're a better person when you're around that person - it might be love
If you enjoy kissing and touching that person - it might be love, or it might just be your hormones.
Ultimately, you're the only one who can tell. Sometimes you just "know."
In my opinion, the best romantic relationships are based on solid friendships. It can be tough to try and date someone you don't like or respect.

without sounding like a smart a** if you have to ask then i would say you are not in love. i have never found the words to describe what i think of as love.

You need to let this person go and if they come back to you you know it was meant to be. Trust me its hard to take a break when you love someone but you will truly know it was meant to be when they come back to you. I hope I have helped you
