The question is not what do you do - the question is are you in love or have you been played.
In most states the limit to establish parental rights is two years, if married you are the father regardless of DNA.
If you were told out of love hang in there and good luck working through it - dont tell the kid
PS WOMEN LIE GET A PATERNITY TEST AND CALL MAURY
If you were played go to divorce court pay 18 to 24 months of alimony and be done with her demand custody of the child - never tell the child about this until absolutely necessary (your death is a good time) argue child support based upon income not the facts of DNA if you argue DNA you will lose

Hypothetical Question, well I wouldn't do anything. Because you know in your heart of heart's if the child were yours. If,you were not sure they do have tests that you all can do! But,the question is would you want to walk away from this marriage, and all the time that you already invested. Just remember that it isn't the child's fault. Can you just imagine what this child would feel finding out this too...Good Luck, even if it were a Hypothetical Question.

First of all, I would never tell the child what was talked about. I would go and get a DNA test to confirm or deny. And above and beyond everything that might happen with my spouse (I highly recommend counseling) I would never leave that child or let that child hear from me that I was not their parent. Love does not involve DNA, remember that =)

To be honest.
I would seek a divorce (b/c not only did she cheat on me, she a liar and if she lied about that, no telling what else she will do down the line) and...as far as the child...don't know. The child would probably remain in my life, but I'm the type of person that would probably not be as close.

Well I'm a girl, but if the guy had been the father of the child already for three years, I would want him to still be there for the child if he wanted, but I would have to understand if he wanted a divorse.

Either you get a DNA-test to prove it, or you let it go. Either way, the child knows you as its father. It will be an important question for you what to do anyways.

I'd be gone. No obligations to her for that child; let her get the real daddy to pay for it. ;)
My answer may sound cold hearted, but that is so messed up. If my wife did that to me, it would be over in a heartbeat. I mean, could you EVER trust someone that would do that to you???

I'd get a DNA test to make sure she's telling you the truth. If she is or isn't telling you the truth, why would she want to hurt you like this?

Wow. I suppose it depended on how good the relationship is now. Everyone makes mistakes. That is a big one, but not unforgivable. If the relationship was going well, I would forgive.
