I was at the grocery store with my middle son (then 4) and we were picking out produce, I was holding the bag and he was picking out (we HAVE got some bad ones this way lol) and counting the apples as he put them in the bag, a woman came over to me and said "I am a kindergarten teacher and we just love parents like you". As I was pregnant with my 3 son at the time and in the very emothional state, it made me feel really good about my parenting skills.

Your a stubborn mule that just likes to do things out of spite. (my husband said that last night, while running out of the room like a coward)LOL
Seriously as a teenager I was in a bad relationship and was out with the guy I was dating and he was treating me like crap and one of his friends said he (guy I was with) didn't deserve me I was to good for him. This made me decide that I was to good for him and I dumped his ***.

Recently, at my grandmother's funeral, one of her best friends introduced me as my grandmother's favorite granddaughter. I laughed and said, "She said that about all of us". She looked at me seriously and said, "Yes, but she meant it about you." That meant a lot at a time when I needed it most.
