what mix of oil to gas for a 1969 johnson outboard engine.?

I'd go with 50:1 with TCW-3 oil. I have a 1978 Johnson that works perfectly with this ratio. Even older motors from the 1950's can use that ratio as long as you're using a newer oil like TCW-3.

50:1 is correct ,but if it were new and you were breaking it in you would double it. so since it is a 1969 50:1.
