Pls don't look at me as racist, but I just notice that Indians smell weird, that I don't smell in other people.

It is because of the spices they put in their food. Their food is really really good but very strong and spicy. I think some stuff that goes inside our body goes out through our pores and our sweatglands.

A person's smell has a lot to do with their lifestyle. For an average Indian, it is a combination of several factors: the weather is hot and that makes most people sweat a lot; not everyplace or vehicle is airconditioned; then most indians dont use antiperspirants; and finally the spicy food they eat...it affects the smell of their sweat.
Westerners smell a lot too. Many of my indian friends find the combination of coffee and cigarette smell of their breath difficult to deal with for instance.

If any Indian person you've met does smell it's because of the ingredients in Indian food . Also, I hope that no one that sees my answer thinks I'm racist, I'm just trying to give a sensible answer.

People smell different in large part due to their diets. Japanese people think Americans smell "wierd" because we eat so much more red meat than they do. Perhaps the Indian people you've met use a lot of spice that you are not familiar with.

What do you mean by Indians? Native American or from India? I wouldn't know about Native Americans as I don't think I have ever met one. But one of my best freinds growing up was from India. I knew him for six years and he didn't smell weird at all.

One thing i can tell you about indians is that they love to cook.Before they leave home their wives cook dinner so their cloths smell like curry the whole day,another reason is just like alcohol coming through the pores of an alcoholic the curry comes through their pores.

maybe because the weather is quiet hot there and because of the humidity , people sweat a lot.do u say this because u were in a crowded local train in Mumbai? because its really bad in that case.

the wonderful indian food!
the spices r so strong that while cooking they are absorbed by the clothes !
eat indian food though, its yummy!
and i think even caucasians stink.
they smell of asmoke as well. they have bad breathe too.
i am chinese and all chinese who dont shower , stink too
