These days you can wear white after Labor Day. Fashion issues are no longer issues; as you can see, almost anything goes. Years ago it was thought that white was strictly to be worn between Memorial Day and Labor Day because (whoever decided this) thought white is only a summer color.

That "was" an old fashion no no. It was mainly ment that you should not wear white dress clothes and dress shoes after labor day.

This is only a fashion rule that's been going around for years and years. Spring and Summer are associated with lighter colors whereas Fall and Winter are associated with darker colors.
Only idiots actually follow this rule anymore. Where what you want as long as you look good in it.
