What will be faster?

I use a cell-phone to connect to the net, which will be the fastest, connecting via infra red or data cable?

what can i use to make my connection over the cable faster? It only downloads at about 3mbs, tedious prosess...hmm

Data cable should allow bandwidth beyond necessary. Whatever the speed you're getting through the cellphone, the cable will handle. The infrared has limitations based on proximity to the PC and cellphone battery level.

for me data cable, i dont know the speed of the infrared but the cable can go to 1000 MB with NIC that support that of course
