Usually 4 quarts, but if you ask the auto parts guy where you buy the oil, they will definately tell you how much to put in. Your atv's manual should tell you as well.

First refer to the owners manual, that should give you the correct amount with and without the filter. If you do not have the book, go to the shop and ask them.
