what causes people to get glasses? is it in their heredity? or what? and what can u do to keep ur eyes healthy?

It could be hereditary, or not hereditary. I don't think there is a solid scientific answer for that. You can improve your site by taking care of your body, i.e. no smoking, include a lot of vegetables in your diet.
