"Logic" is generally a deductive or inductive process of reaching a certain conclusion, each step being built upon the preceding ones.

"Common sense" is generally a learned, knee-jerk response to a given situation, that skips entirely the bother of building a step-by-step argument.

Curiously, neither logic nor common sense need to be true (accurate) to be valid (accepted).

"Contrariwise, continued Tweedledee, If it was so, it might be; and if it were so, it would be; but as it isn't, it ain't. That's logic."
-Lewis Carroll

Logic follows a strict set of rules - at it's most strict, logic is almost mathematical.

Logic is also used in a more general, less rigorous sense.

common sense isn not rigorously tested, or even argued.
For instance, it is common sense to say that the Earth rises in the East and Sets in the West. Weall see that. We can even agree on it. But the truth is that we perceive the sun rising and setting. that perception is an artifact of the earth rotating around the sun.

Logic is like a process that your brain goes through using reasoning and facts to prove what is right/wrong. Common sense is more like your natural instict between right/wrong, it doesn't usually need to be feueled by any sort of proof or fact. It's what you feel.

Logic is deductive reasoning and teaches you how to reason; Common sense deals with life lessons, an innate sense of what is right or wrong, and the desire to do right. (of course that is subject to your own moral code).

Logic: is that you have the ability to think things out step by step to a "logical" conclusion.
Common Sense: is that if you see something glowing red hot...you know not to touch it.
