"And there is no reason, Bob, that young American soldiers need to be going into the homes of Iraqis in the dead of night, terrorizing kids and children, you know, women"
Deja Vu with Sen. John Kerry, 12/04/05

"Our country is founded on a sham. Our forefathers were slave-owning rich white guys who wanted it their way. So when I see the American flag, I go, 'Oh my God, you're insulting me.' That you can have a gay parade on Christopher Street in New York, with naked men and women on a float cheering, 'We're here, we're queer!' - that's what makes my heart swell. Not the flag, but a gay naked man or woman burning the flag. I get choked up with pride."
-Garafolo, co-host on Air America, 1998

"Have we gone to war yet?" she asked sarcastically, early on. "We (expletive) deserve to get bombed. Bring it on." Later she yelled, "Let's get rid of all the economic (expletive) this country represents! Bring it on, I hope the Muslims win!

FYI, liberals, Freedom of speech doesn't cover everything.. Like treason, threat to the president, and yelling fire in a building.

Simple put, they hate the United States. They also dispise most of the Constitution, our form of goverment, our founding fathers and true Christiaity. Most liberals are communust or socialits anyways and admire communist leadres past or present and those types of goverments. Thus they want the same here.

Everyone has a 1st Amendment right to free speech. Garafolo and Hynde are entertainers...They're not exactly academics or history experts. John Kerry is a politician. I don't trust many politicians, democrat or republican (or independent).

It is difficult to support a conflict which costs American lives in order to bring freedom to a nation while objecting to the exercise of freedoms here at home. I don't think you can have it both ways.

how can a sane person find ANYTHING wrong with this statement??

are you saying that it should be OK to terrorize women and children???

wake up. try to think. do some reading.

maybe you'll learn that over 100,000 Iraqi CIVILIANS were killed during this "war". and thousands were not only "terrorized" (which was what Kerry was referring to), but even tortured.

but instead of trying using your brain or your heart, you chose to scream: "liberals! darn liberals! it's all their fault!"

how pathetic and how sad.
god help America.

dude it's the freedom of speech. If u think this is bad, then go to countries that executes thousands for not agreeing with the politics. If freedom of speech did not exist then the whole this country is the best in the world notion would not work.

And correction liberals are not making fun or our country as a whole, they are criticizing the government. Totally different.

To make one of those remark, someone quite needs to be enlightened. the topic is with the ignorant 1000's who can not mentally conceptualize what those all and diverse is conversing about. i must assert that democracy isn't unavoidably a superb ingredient, because it provides a precise to vote to those persons which have surely no deductive skills. those are the persons the conservative united states of america of america is hoping to collect on the polls. The data that the “liberals” are wondering the politics of their authorities isn't unpatriotic. in fact, those are the genuine patriots!!! They understand obviously and fully the position we are contained in the international and how we were given to this position to commence with.

"I think [women] should be armed but should not [be allowed to] vote. No, they all have to give up their vote, not just, you know, the lady clapping and me. The problem with women voting -- and your Communists will back me up on this -- is that, you know, women have no capacity to understand how money is earned. They have a lot of ideas on how to spend it. And when they take these polls, it's always more money on education, more money on child care, more money on day care."

To a disabled Vietnam vet: "People like you caused us to lose that war."

"My only regret with Timothy McVeigh is he did not go to the New York Times Building."

Because freedom of speech allows them to. Would you like to do away with that silly constitutional amendment?

BTW, who are Garafolo and Chrissie Hynde?

Because it is what they truly believe. They are self-serving comments in line with the liberal ideals. What ever feels good, do it. They simply don't understand that every time they say that stuff, the enemy just grins. There is a time and place for everything, something the left hasn't mastered yet.

ANYTHING TO GET ON THE NEWS AND IN THE PAPERS !!!
Concider the source of such statements and watch it come back to haunt them.
Mr. Kerry fades a little more every day, in time he'll be just another old forgotten loser.

Could someone give a real honst reason of why we engage in atrocities? If we believe in freedom, why are we treating other countries so badly.

I want to believe that we went with real reasons into the hornet's nest that is Iraq, beyond "That man tried to kill my daddy!"
