Well, speaking for myself, I'd rather be the 10th best *Classical* pianist.
Why? Because I happen to be a struggling Classical pianist and I know just how difficult it is to play the piano really well. It's such a rare gift. You need to have everything: talent, good hands, good memory, years of good training and hard work, among other things. Of course you can't really compare artists and say who's number one and who's number 10, but if such a thing were possible, "10th best" would be more than good enough for me!
Of course, being able to speak 10 languages is just as wonderful and rare, but I'd be content with fewer languages: English, French, German, Italian, Russian, Spanish, Mandarin, Japanese. That's 8 languages - almost 10...
Still, I'd rather play the piano extremely well!

I would choose to speak 10 languages. I would be able to talk to different people. Being 10th piano player is awesome but not my thing. Just imagine with how many people you would have something in common by speaking different languages, playing piano is just so many who are in that kind of music (classic probably) Interesting question, I have to admit.

Great Question! My answer would have to be 10th best piano player. Music is the universal language. You can express yourself by playing a piano better than you can communicate by speaking. Music has such a large range of notes.
Definitely the Piano.

I'd rather be the best 10th piano player in the world.
When it comes to languages, you need less than 10 to get around.
If you learn French, Spanish, Arabic, Chinese, Japanese and Russian, you'll be OK
I've been able to get around with only 2 & a half languages in 3 continents. English, Spanish and some Italian. (I also understand French and Portuguese, cause I watch movies)
In most countries there's people who speak english anyway

I would rather take the languages because:
1-I love languages
2-More friends
3-Better jobs
4-Insult/threaten people and they would be clueless (hehehe I love doing this in french)
5-Insult/threaten people in their own language
6-Going to a foreign country and NOT making a fool of yourself because you've asked for the daily special on the menu...or so you thought...but really you asked for a bowl of concrete
7-If I was single, I could broaden my net *wink*
8-I could read in different languages...and never be bored at an airport or any other place
These are all the reasons I can think of right now...

I would take the 10 languages, I think it would be great to travel the world and be able to speak to anyone without any barriers. I could probably get any job I wanted as well because of having those skills.
