First the sun can not move away from the Earth. The Sun is the center, it would be the earth that would have to move away from the sun.
Second if that happened, there could be many things going on. The earth would get cooler, but also we may loose atmosphere and there is always a chance of colliding with something else, causing the earth to destruct.

This is very unlikely to happen as the sun is the center of our solar system. It is far more likely that the earth would move further from the sun. In fact this process is actually happening on a very small scale all of the time. As the sun converts hydrogen to helium small amounts of mass are converted to energy, which is radiated outward into space. This loss in the sun's mass translates to a corresponding loss in its gravity, thereby causing all of the its orbiting planets to continually drift further away from it (albeit by very small increments of distance). In concert with the earth's increasing orbital distance from the sun, the earth's temperature gradually decreases on an overall scale, the tides grow weaker and the length of each year gradually increases.

The sun cannot move farther away from Earth. The Earth would have to move farther from the sun....and if that were to happen, it'd get a lot colder of course.

The temperature of the earth would decrease on an overall scale, the effects of the tides would lessen and the length of a year would be longer. The difference between day and night and summer and winter would still exist but both would be at a lower end of the scale of brightness/temperature.

You say "further" as if it had already moved away
Days would be longer, climate would be effected, and depending on how far away, it would be very very cold.

1.) It's "farther" away, not "further."
2.) You didn't specify how far, so there is no accurate answer.
