First off, pursuing self-meaning in and of itself leads to a meaningful existence. It is up to each of us to learn this for ourselves.

Secondly, those who have done the above eventually find that what really matters is striving to live by The Golden Rule and serving others. For only selfless souls find any true meaning and happiness with their lives; here in the flesh and also in the Spirit after death.

There is an even greater meaning to our existence but that is reserved for those who have already cultivated the above to the point of becoming stable Saints. That higher meaning is to evolve into becoming Co-Creators in The Light after death. To have the ability through spiritual evolution to manifest with light a significant improvement to the basic human condition - physically, socially, environmentally, and sexually.
