If you have spun a crank bearing the seating area around the bearing has certainly been damaged. In that event you will need to remove the crank and have a machinist machine a new journal to accomodate an oversized bearing.
As this involves a good bit of disassembly, you would be well off to do a complete lower rebuild at the time.

You're looking at more than just changing a bearing if you spun a bearing. If you're not familair enough with cars to already know how to get to the bearings, I strongly recommend you take it to a mechanic.
An ounce of prevention is worth more than a pound of cure. Check your damn oil.

well jack up your car and block it from falling, then drain the oil and take the oil pan off and find the bearing that needs changing and loosen the bearing cap and push the piston up and take off the upper and lower bearing and when you put the new ones on make sure you oil them up first so you wont have a dry start up.make sure you torque both nuts equally or the bearing will be cock eyed and go out on you.
