Are american cheer leader uniforms one piece outfits in other words a leotard type thing with a skirt sewn on or are they seperate skirt top and pants,also any idea where you could get one in the uk

They are usually two pieces: a skirt and a shell or sweater for a top. Then there are usually bloomers (an undie type thing) underneath that match for flipping and jumping and stuff. Where to get one? You should be able to easily buy one online... ebay or any sporting goods place or a costume shop.

Two pieces....look on ebay.com and you can have it delivered
There is actually more than two pieces....socks, shoes, skirt, shell (top), bloomers, and maybe a scrunchi
