Sort of.
I enjoyed many of the games, fantasy soccer, etc.
But, have had to enjoy with only small groups of fans in the US. It was very disorganized viewing for fans.
Also, some of the teams were disappointing such as Brazil not playing to par - getting lucky mostly. The controversies with racist remarks is a bit marring too. Bummed that we didn't have an African team advance further (such as Ghana or Togo).

Yeah. There's been some good matches and some of my teams made it pretty far, but none made it far enough. I guess it build up interest for 2010.... The final is a bit of a let-down since it will pair two defensive-minded teams. Yawnfest! I'm looking forward more to the 3rd place match on Saturday.

yeah its exciting. eventhough my favorite teams are out. But four years ago was really fun. It was something about waking up at 3 in the morning and getting together with my friends to watch the games while the rest of the u.s. slept that made it awesome

South Korea advancing to the semifinals was a joke... at least they didn't get 3rd place, though.

Nope! very dissapointing and quite surprising that all those great teams which were supposed to win, they didn't! teams like Brazil, Germany and Argentina

yes, im enjoying it...even though my personal favorite teams have not made it...however, i like that its not as predictable as everyone thought...everyone assumed is was going to be brasil vs germany or brasil vs argentina for the finals....and its none of them (sadly).
so now im rooting for italy!!!
