I don't hate Mexican people. I think that the issue right now is that a lot of American's don't want illegal immigrants in this country and most of them come from Mexico. I don't feel strongly on this issue because I think it is an opportunity for some to start over and possibly improve their quality of living. Good luck to them!

Well I do not hate Mexicans or illegals for that matter but most illegals that come into the United States do join gangs and are in the slums of our cities. I am talking from experience because my rich beautiful sister met an illegal alien while he was doing construction across the street. He had killed a cop in Mexico but it was okay because he hopped the boarder and no one could touch him. What is stopping an illegal alien from stealing or even murder. The illegal if caught would just be thrown back to Mexico and he could come back into the country within a day. Back to my sisters boyfriend who is known as Oscar whom spent most of the days I knew him up here in San Jose CA. He sucked three thousand dollars out of my sister and my parents. He did not pay them back instead ran away to LA and convinced my sister to come along. My sister was valedictorian at a very prestigious private school. She had been accepted into UCLA who has an 11 percent acceptance, but she threw it all away because she thought she loved this man. Oscar, an illegal, is manipulative and mean but so are some Americans. The only thing separating the two is that most illegals coming over have been and still are exposed to horrible situations. These situations mold there morality and because of this they have a lower expectation of what is good or bad. They will kill more readily than any American because they do not see the same replications.

The current administration has caused a hatred to the Mexican people as they have inflamed an issue that is not really an issue. Illegal immigration. It has been going on for years and has integrated itself into the American economy. The employers that hire these people do not want anything to change. Imagine that they become unionized and start making a living wage. We would end up paying $10 for a salad at a restaurant, $50 for a basket of strawberries, $4 for a big mac. Most people in this country are just sheep and will follow any lead that their dear leaders direct their way.

I don't hate Mexican's or people from any other race, culture, or religion. What I do hate are the issues that are often linked to particular groups and used as a basis for singeling them out. For instance, the issue of immigration as it focuses on the number of illegal Mexicans coming across the border. The real issue is why those people feel the need to come here. Why are their needs not being met in their country of origin. The answer has become, "Let's put up a wall", but that doesn't solve the bigger problem - it just ignores it. We can send jobs to India but not Mexico. We can spend billions of dollars in Iraq to effect political and economic changes for the benefit of the Iraqi people but we can't do the same for our next door neighbors. Yes, the people in India need jobs. Yes, the Iraqi people deserve better. But what confidence am I as an American supposed to have that it can be accomplished thousands of miles away when we can't solve those same issues in our own backyard. So we caste shame and blame on the poor people who are doing nothing more than trying to rise out of that kind of desperation. If you think about it, the same is true of every issue we face. It's not the face or faces of the people involved. Its often not even the most recent issue the media puts before us, its the bigger unresolved issues behind it. Sometimes I think people are just lazy or maybe they just feel helpless in effecting change over such big issues. Either way, taking the easy way out by only looking at the surface of things is certainly not the answer and often times only creates more problems.

I don't hate Mexicans. In fact I have been to Mexico and found the people there to be hard working honest family people just trying to make a decent living.

HOW ever, the Americans only see what is right across the border and that is Tiajuana Mexico, and it's not the nicest area. So they associate all of Mexico with what they see.

I am white very white and of Irish decent and live in the south. I do not hate Mexicans. I love their culture and admire their family values. Most I have met are devoted to family and church. This is entirely irrelevant but I passionately collect Mexican pottery and art. My neighbors by the way are of Mexican heritage and I think the world of them. I have met some Latino that had decided they didn't like me because of my skin color. Funny huh? Considering your question.
All this being said...I think we must push for legal immigration. People coming across our boarders in these times may be from other places than Mexico and have evil intentions. There are many people from many more nations than just Mexico that want to live here. Should they be turned away because so many come from Mexico illegally? Should the people that immigrate through proper procedure be turned away because so many enter the country illegally? Why as a country is it bad for the people of this country to want to protect our boarders. It's like saying a man is a racist if he locks the doors at night to protect his own.

I have no problems with Mexicans, in fact I believe the women there to be some of the most beautiful in the world. I have a problem with people hiring illegals and paying them substandard wages while adding the cost savings to thier pockets. Americans cant compete against someone who will work for $1 an hour, but the price for the goods does not go down.

I don't hate Mexicans. I just feel that if their are border issues a person should enter legally. I went to Mexico 2 years ago and I didn't hop the fence to get there. I did it legally. No other country in the world allows you to enter their country illegally. I don't hate Mexicans. I know many Mexicans who came here legally. And I applaude them for abiding by the law.

I don't hate anyone. Where I live there are a lot of Hispanic immigrants that migrate with the farm seasons. I enjoy having the kids in my Sunday school and I am learning more Spanish and actually using what I picked up in college. People can be ignorant bigots. It is not just in the US it is everywhere. Racism is the result of fear and ignorance. When people open themselves to meeting new people and learning about their culture everyone gets along better. I think that you should judge people based on their actions, not what they look like or where they are from. If you judge people base on anything else, it will end badly.

I don't hate anyone. The mexicans that cross the border are the mean people in this case. there are other people who can't cross the border by jumping over the fence waiting in some other country. Isnt it unfair that more of one race gets to come into this country. If you ask me it is the illegal immigrants(most are mexican) who are racist. and for those of you who think we should legalise illegal immigration. Ok but how can you legalize something that is illegal if you cant illegalize something that is legal. no ex post facto law. read the Constitution or are you so ignorant about your country that you dont even know who the president is(even if he may be pretty stupid)
