Someone told me that when they fart on leather (e.g. - their leather car seat) that their fart goes back up in them, goes to their head and amkes them feel like they will pass out! so she said noone should EVER fart on leather! whats everyones thoughts??

I know that this is not true! I'm just telling you what this person told me and I thought they were very stupid! So all of you who thinks I'm writing this to see if its true or not - i know its not! I just wanted opinions on the matter to justify my opinion of this person! and they were dead serious when they told me this! everyday before getting into their vehicle they stand outsaid and fart before they get in so they wont pass out when they fart on their leather!

it will smell bad, and after about ten minutes the leather will dissenigrate and there will be a little hole. hope you have a swimming pool because if you don't soak the leather in chlorine for about 78 hours, it could blow up!!!!!!!!

I don't really know about gas, but I do know from being around renaissance faires that leather does absorb body oils and get really funky. Maybe the car leather is absorbing and releases more strongly? I don't know.

farting on leather just makes the fart louder. i don't know how it works but thats all it does. i have a leather couch and my dad farted on it and it didn't do anything except for make noise and stink a little. you can fart on leather and you will be fine!

Nah, noone will tell if you farted on leather, unless you're a loud farter. About that rumor, they probably want you to stop farting when they're around.

It smells bad, as I'm sure you know. That's way it is better to do your think on a nice foam based product that absorbs such offensive odors
