I am looking for the lanterns to decorate for my wedding and I dont want to pay an arm and a leg for them... anyone know where to get them at a cheap cheap price?

Skip the malls or non-asian shops. To get a lot at discount either take a trip to the closest asian market or check online. Below are a few websites for cheap.
The second site has fantastic paper umbrellas which are inexpensive and would have a big effect.
