i have lime wire pro, but the bars that say how good is the connection are always empty, and it says it found a fire wall, and when i tipe something so lime wire can search for it, it dosnt find anything, what can i do?

Download the latest version, this version not have any problems.

click on link, from window appear just go to bottom and click on "free" button from right, and wait 20 seconds for download start.

and don't use bearshare because this program have alot of spyware, and bearshare broken my previous computer.

1. Do this simple test. Using your browser go here: http://www3.limewire.com:6346/
The page should say 'Your test worked!'. What happens when you go there? If you can't reach that page it means port 6346 is blocked.
2. Did you configure your firewall so it allows LW full access?

Stay away from Bearshare. It isn't worth the spy ware.
Your problem is caused by a firewall or closed port. Not your program itself.
Once you find the problem you will be fine. Any other problem will have the same issue.

I actually have magnificent outcomes with Limewire professional. i began with professional so i am going to't analyze it to the loose version. I actually have used Bearshare & it fairly works O.ok. I do merely extra acceptable with Limewire.

Yes, that is a firewall then, disable yours or if you know how to set them up, enable it to not filter limewire, you want 5 green or blue bars, if you dont have it, you wont find anything.

If you are P2P........ take your firewall off.
