I am concerned about how you got so many bruises all over. I hope that nobody abused you. Know that, if so, you don't have to take it. Talk to a Dr. or some one you trust. Know that there are lot's of people and places that want to help one in that situation.
I also wanted to say this here for other women who might be drawn to your question.

Ice makes the swelling go down but a hot bath will do the opposite. Heat is good for aching muscles but not for swellings from bruises or sprains. Heat is good AFTER the swelling goes down (it promotes blood flow to that area).

I too am concerned about how you got your bruises .. I know it's not our business but if it IS from an abusive relationship, please know that there ARE ways to get help .. it's not easy I KNOW but you do need to be safe .. the more informed you are, the easier it will be to get out of such a relationship. www.About.com has a good section on domestic violence with loads of really practical information.

PS Just saw your other question and was so happy to see that you are OUT of that abusive relationship. So very glad. One bit of advice: don't give him a second chance. Abusers can turn on the charm and you'll go through what's called "the honeymoon phase" .. for a while .. but the abuse will happen again. Whatever he says .. never give him a second chance.

I wish you ALL the best and really admire your courage for getting out of such a difficult situation.

Arnica gel. Arnica montana pills. Both homeopathic remedies. However, if they are that puffy and hurt that much, seek medical attention.

I think you should go to the Emergency Room and have them checked out.
