I think it is truer to say 'A woman wants one man to give her everything she needs, whereas a man wants every woman to give him the one thing he needs.'

I agree with that statement. A man want to be a woman's first everything. If I meet a guy and our relationship seems like heaven, I would want to be the last best women in his world. Meaning I would be with him forever and no women would be able to compare to me. Sad thing is when you think your the s_h_i_t there is always another beyotch that is better.

It sounds so cliche, but I do see some truth in it in this day and age.
Women tend to be more vulnerabe with their first love and give their 110% to their first loves. So, walking into it blind and inexperienced, women usually have some sort of bad experience with their first love-like getting your heart smashed and mutilated. As a result, we're more careful, cautious and thick skinned when it comes to the following men we decide to date or commit ourselves to.
Of course, men cluelessly break womens' hearts (not knowing they are possible first loves for some of these women), and when they are "mentally ready", finally commit themselves to that one woman or their "last romance" as you put it.
Sucks to be a chick.

I think the statement is sexist and old fashioned. It's just putting a sweet spin on the long held belief that men only want sex and women are more interested in romance.

i think its true cause mostly all a guy wants is sex girls and women want romance so its definitly true...
