"Songbird" by Fleetwood Mac. It tears me up every time I hear it! Here are the lyrics:

Songbird Fleetwood Mac lyrics
Artist: Fleetwood Mac
Album: Rumours
Year: 1977
Title: Songbird Print
Correct

(Christine McVie)

For you, there'll be no more crying,
For you, the sun will be shining,
And I feel that when I'm with you,
It's alright, I know it's right
To you, I'll give the world
to you, I'll never be cold
'Cause I feel that when I'm with you,
It's alright, I know it's right.
And the songbirds are singing,
Like they know the score,
And I love you, I love you, I love you,
Like never before.
And I wish you all the love in the world,
But most of all, I wish it from myself.
And the songbirds keep singing,
Like they know the score,
And I love you, I love you, I love you,
Like never before, like never before.

If you like rock music, take a look at Bif Naked's cover of Metallica's "Nothing Else Matters". Also, the Flys' "Got You Where I Want You". Or Nickelback's "Far Away".

Traditionally though, the first dance should be a song that has emotional significance to the bride and groom - whether it's the first song they ever danced together to, song playing when they met, during their first kiss, etc.

Remember, it's YOUR wedding, YOUR memories, and YOUR first dance together as a married couple - make it what YOU want it to be.

"As Time Goes By," by Dooley Wilson was sort of the theme song in the movie Casablanca. I think it would be a great choice, but I don't know much about your preferences.

Good luck and God bless!

Fisher "I Will Love You"

Really nice lovey-dovey slow song... Lyrics include "Till the stars fill my eyes, and we touch the last time.. I will love you, love you.. But I need to know will you stay for all time? Forever and a day?"
