Yahoo Flickr allows this. They allow you to upload a small amount for free every month or you can pay an annual fee to allow unlimited uploads. The only problem my friends had with accessing the photos, is that they had to join Yahoo and Flickr as members to view my pictures classified as Private(Invite only). It doesn't cost them to join it but some of my friends didn't want to join anything new. If you want anyone to be able to view the pictures then you set the picture classification to Public and anyone can view them. It was easy to use and the pictures can be downloaded in any size up to the original file size uploaded.

Hey gal, how are you doing? You can store your photos in the free share file or photo hosting systems like http://www.picturehosting.org/ ; here you can even link your picture to other places! Any other questions, don’t hesitate!

As you say Yahoo is unlimited but clarity etc is lost . Try
www.ntlworld.com but you had to pay to extend your album. I found it easier to buy a peripheral hard drive and back them up on it...............

photobucket.com
don`t upload it if it is in a .bmp format, that`ll reduce the size. upload in a .jpeg or .gif format
