Just do it. Sit down and tell them. Some will be cool and some will most likely be a**holes about it. For those who treat you bad because of it, then forget them. Coming out is often a test of true friendship. The biggest hassle, though, will probably be the family. Regardless, don't waste time hiding. Just let your real self out and then you'll have that big obstacle out of the way!
