I don't believe in God, but the problem is in the question itself - it contradicts itself. "All-powerful" and "can't" don't belong in the same sentence. That's like asking, "When does infinity end?"
But technically, it's not a true paradox. If you think about it, the answer is NO. An all-powerful being *can't* make a rock they can't lift, because any rock they make, they'd be able to lift. Conversely, an all-powerful being CAN make any rock, and CAN lift any rock.

Sure, its called free will. According to some Christians, god gave us free will and therefore no longer has control over us. He can suggest through signs and miracles but it is our choice what we do. In that he created something that he cannot control, or a rock he cannot lift.
Of course it depends on which of the many beliefs in god you subscribe to.
So there you go, an actual answer rather than an insult.

To speak of a non-dimensional God in dimensional terms such as "making a rock" and "lifting a rock" is pointless. Also, to try and explain God using human languages is also impossible as we are restricted by the words that exist whereas God is limitless.
God does not have hands and a body like us...so there's no point in discussing it in those terms.

A zen master saw a group of acolytes having a discussion about the nature of reality. They seemed to be agreeing that everything was a matter of perception. He walked over to group, tapped one young man on the shoulder and said, "You! Is that huge boulder inside or outside your mind?" The student says, "Since buddha tells us that everything is mind, the boulder must be inside." "I feel sorry for you," The master says,"for having such a heavy head." Everything is a matter of perception, just not necessarily our own perceptions. What is the sound of one hand clapping? Does a tree falling in the forest make a sound? Can an Omnipotent God create limitations on its limitless powers? All worthy paradoxes to comtenplate, all unanswerable unless and until we reach enlightment. (William Blake regarded the seconding coming of Christ as occuring constantly. It wasn't an exterior universal event, but rather an interior individual one very similar to a buddhist ideal of enlightenment.)

Yes, he can. He can define himself in the image of a being that can not lift the rock. Likewise he can define himself in the image of a being that can lift the rock. So he is all powerful by all paradoxal arguments that are meant to be brought up by your question.

this question has been asked so many times come up with something original, the answer is yes and no, He can do anything that He want if He chooses to make something that He cant lift then He can, but then He can decide that He can lift it, but it doesn't matter, He can do whatever He wants

how are you so sure that god can't lift that rock that he made? God is all mighty and if you are second guessing his makings than you need to start to go to church. God didn't create us to second guess him. we were created outta love and cherishment. Our Lord gave us life and a world to live our life. What gives us the right to question him?

If God is all-powerful, He/She/It can do anything. Including be less weak, so he couldn't pick up the rock. But if he wanted to, he could become stronger. "Powerful" doesn't just mean muscular strength, now, does it?
