stop thinking the grass is greener on the other side and realize that you are standing on the greenest grass. Cherish every day, and love every part of each other.

I believe that if two people honestly love one another than they will figure out what works best for them. I know you have to communicate daily about what it is you want and need. You also have to seperate what is important and what is not, what you want and what you need.
As a woman I say let the men do the things they enjoy (like games, fishing and topless bars) but make sure you also do the things you enjoy (like shopping, dancing or a male review) and then you both come together and do things you enjoy together like working out, making love and just being together. Just keep talking, when you stop talking that is when men and women tend to wander off in different directions.

True love isn't a thing -- it's a self-sacrificial committment to another person of one's best for their good.

How does a farmer ensure having a good crop year-by-year?

Ans: work, work, work...clear, clean, plow, fertilize, water, weed, tend, prune, harvest, rotate, etc.

Translate these farming terms into interpersonal relationship terms like commit, cherish, serve, encourage, honor, respect, support, forgive, etc. If a man and woman implement behaviors unselfishlessly and unconditionally, then they've done what is humanly possible.

Now, I personally believe that having a personal relationship with Christ is the foundation which enables fallible humans to have the best marriages, but that's another topic.

First true love can burn out, relationships need work. and sometimes one partner forgets. Talk to each other and go from there.

If it is "true love" then it will never burn out.

true luv needn't be necessarily from a man,i mean a partner. it's all perception. if u love a person truly, surely, ur love will be reciprocated. take for that case. love ur mother, right. so her love 2 u will also b true. so where u need true love, give, n u'll surely get. if not,pl e-mail me.
good luck

Take one day at a time. After a while you will learn to try new things. Take the time you need. I made my whole world my children and that wasn't good. Now I make time for hubby and I.

I have been together with my bf for two years we simply follow these "rules."

never go to bed angry at eachother.
Always say i love you before leaving eachother.
create time together and time apart.
always inform your half of whats going on... its cute and makes them feel special.
dont assume that things are like a soap opera..its not always what you think.

AND FINALLY.... the golden rule ...treat him/ her as you treat yourself.

if you wouldnt want to be cheated on dont cheat.
if you dont want to pay for everything dont make him pay for everything.
if you like to do something by yourself dont get pissed when the other person does.
etc.......

its the small things that make a relationship. If you both want it to work it will...

Be creative and adventurous. Don't sit around and talk about doing things together. Get up and enjoy things and your love for each other.
